2015 AIBA Pro Boxing (APB) world rankings (men only) Date: September 2015 Total quota spots: 20 (2 per men's weight class) At the end of the first competition cycle for 2015, the top two boxers in the APB world rankings for each men's weight class will earn quota spots for their countries.

2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships (men only) Date: October 5-18, 2015 Total quota spots: 23 (1-3 per men's weight class) The 2015 World Championships serves as a qualifier for the Rio Games.
