Most non-residential services are provided at the one of six Center for Safety & Change locations in Rockland County; some services for domestic violence victims with special circumstances may be provided at other sites, including the Rockland County Child Protective Services (CPS) office in Pomona through a collaborative program with (CPS).
Project Tikvah is a special program of the Center for Safety & Change dedicated to serving the needs of Orthodox Jewish women who are being abused.
Even when teens recognize that they are being abused, they may hesitate to turn to adults for support, understanding, and protection.
Prject Tikvah provides Orthodox women with an array of services including: counseling by a trained Orthodox advocate, a 24-hour hotline, court advocacy, and if necessary, legal services.
Should you or someone you know require services from Project Tikvah contact the Coordinator of Services to the Orthodox Jewish Community.
